Affectionate send-up of an old TV show that's never laugh out loud funny but Ackroyd and Hanks make a reasonably amusing chalk and cheese double act, mainly because of Aykroyd's amusingly deadpan performance.

Only a few moments manage to bring any real laughs in a pretty bland comedy despite some big-named talent. If you're looking for a good 80s comedy, you can do much better.
