Not as good as the first one. The premise was essentially the same, but instead of the daughter, it's Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson) and his wife played by Famke Janssen. But, that isn't necessarily a bad ting, because Liam Neeson still has a set of skills...and I like this character. But, it's just not as good as the first one.

Thought it would be far inferior from the first Taken, but I was wrong. Although it doesn't surpass the first installment, this sequel delivers with decent action/thrill and tolerable story line. Still a witty and clever Taken that we know.

Okay before I start this review I did see the first one and it was great. I was really looking forward to seeing this movie but I was let down.

Pretty much exactly like the original - minus the element of any surprise. Liam Neeson punches, kicks and shoots a lot and other than Maggie Grace getting to run around (instead of being kidnapped - that's Famke Janssen's role this time) - I think it would be tough to tell the two apart. Lots of action abounds, however, so if that's your thing, have fun with it.

This wasn't like the first one where we had the element of suspense and surprise. We pretty much knew that Liam Neeson was going to plow through every Albanian until his ex-wife and daughter were safe and that everything was going to turn out well in the end. And even though we knew what was going to happen, it was still fun to watch him "do what [he does] best."
