A near perfect melding of fantasy, sci-fi and superheroism. It plays like a cross between LOTR and Star Wars. There is nothing to dislike in this film and the action is mind blowing but the film still manages to delivery humor with perfect timing. This really has it all and is in my top 3 for Marvel Universe.

This is better than Thor but it still has this feeling of mediocrity compared to other Marvel film series like Iron Man or Captain America. Hell, Hulk has less films but doesn't feel as bland as the Thor films which remain as good as they are thanks to the cast. Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston are great. Natalie Portman is becoming increasingly irrelevant to the proceedings of Thor's adventures. Christopher Eccleston is completely wasted as the villain. It is telling when the scenes set in Asgard are better handled and more entertaining than the ones taking place on Earth. There are NINE REALMS readily available for Thor to save the day. Let Earth (and Portman) behind already!

poor movie. if your going to compete with other super here movies you need to up your game and put something on the screen. i have seen better things on kids tv than this film. The whole things wreaks of cheap and a cash in

A great follow up sequel that improves on the original. Great visuals, action and a strong storyline. Has good humor to balance things out and very well made spectacles. Hemsworth gives his strongest performance yet as the god of thunder and Hiddleston is again masterful as the god of mischief, they both have great chemistry together and play extremely well off one another. The rest of the cast deliver good to very good performances for the most part and the battle scenes carry a lot more weight this time around in my opinion. The funeral scene for the fallen asgardians is a wonder to behold, it's a fantastic scene. One of the best films from the MCU so far.

If you think kick-ass 2 was a kick ass superhero movie well let Thor put some sense into you.Thor: the dark world. this movie is way way better then the first, because in the first movie you did not see any Asgard, I mean In the first movie they did not show how Asgard works and I like in this movie they show every thing in this movie just like man of steel. and this movie will get a 4/5 star's "A must see movie".
