After a front-loaded but luckily brief exposition-laden opening, "Rise of the Guardians" bursts into a wonder-fueled fantasy adventure streaming with action and imagination.

The best animation that Dreamworks has ever done and it's associated with this well-meaning but ultimately silly kid's stuff.

I thought this movie was going to be a little better than what it actually was. However, it had its strong points, such as the elves and yetis.
