"Devil" isn't scary, disturbing, or mysterious. It's tedious, boring, and cheap-looking.

The story is about a group of people trapped in an elevator come to believe the devil is amongst them. I actually did not hate this movie not like other people did. The movie has it's creepy moments and it's stupid Moments.

Just how good do you think a movie about a bunch of people trapped in an elevator with the devil can really be? If you think it's going to suck then you're right! This movie SUCKED & I think the only reason I watched it from beginning to end was so that I didn't waste the $1 I spent renting it from Redbox

A decent, if a little predictable, thriller. A group of 5 are trapped in an elevator and find that they have to battle what may be the devil. While technically a horror film, it's not very scary at all, and it is predictable, however it is still worth the watch to see how things end up. There are a few cliches that you have to get past, but overall, it was an enjoyable 90 minutes. I have to admit, I wasn't too excited to get into an elevator the next day.

A decent thriller that starts off well, becomes a bit bogged down by the religion angle before reaching a so-so ending. I totally called who the devil was going to be out of the people - but it was still a surprise how it played out. Good for at least one watch.

i have to be honset,i enjoyed this film.i know a lot of people got a little scared when they say M.Night's name all over it,but come on this is actually pretty good.i found myself not only entertained,but exited through the whole movie.it's not that cary,but it's really good.i recommend it to anyone who loves horror or mystery films.

The theme of this movie without the religious stuff is excellent. The religious stuff, however, really dumbs down the entire movie. It makes it silly as opposed to scary or suspenseful.

A superbly-produced thriller from the mind, although not the craft of M. Night Shyamalan. As a film itself, I wished the story did not move from the elevator, to give the feeling of immense claustrophobia from the audience, but the way it all came about with the Detective being a key figure in the end, I was satisfied wholly at the ending. A superb cast of unknowns really makes this film blossom from a mainstream thriller to a great indie flick. A great show!
