In a world ravaged by the undead, Alice is still on a quest to find and safely protect any survivors. She also continues to fight Umbrella Corporation, hoping to put an end to the group once and for all. Yet just when she thinks she's found salvation in L.A. she walks into the most dangerous trap yet. This movie has horrible visual effect's and garage 3-D.

It was baffling how Alice survives the crash from the beginning, the big undead got it and the rest didn't and how easily she located the weapons armory. Stylish direction and matrix-like action were evident. Plot however was uninteresting, as mentioned by a few previous reviewers. Special effects and soundtrack were cool. Resident Evil: Afterlife could have been way better in the storytelling category with more likable characters.

A lot happens but there's not a lot going on - about as brainless action as you can get. Plus, for no reason I can fathom, they throw in a bunch of elements from the most recent RE games (the parasite thing in the zombies and dogs - Wesker being super human fast, the huge executioner). The action was non-stop and fun but the story just sucked.

Makes the least sense of all the RE films and has the most mind-numbing slo-mo action. The 3D was decent, but the film overall is just plain dumb and pointless.

Sort of murky and incomprehensible. The zombie sequences are at least slightly more terrifying than in previous versions of the series. Could have been an interesting concept, but poorly directed and too reliant on special effects to carry it.

There's not much in the way of plot here. But, there is some excellent action.
