Our main character comes off as pathetic sometimes, but he's not unlikable. "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" is an incredibly funny comedy about getting over your ex.

The story is about a young man his heart broken by his ex girlfriend who he can't seem to forget. His friends suggest making a trip far away to somewhere she would not be - only to find out her and her new boyfriend are staying at the same resort. His luck may have turned as he meets a nice young lady who is interested in who he is. This movie is funny as hell and this movie is not a cliche like other movies.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall works because of the comedic energy of its cast, all of whom create memorable caricatures. Russell Brand's star-making turn as the drugged up, sex addict rockstar Aldous Snow is a standout, as is writer Jason Segel's pathetic sadsack, Peter Bretter. But other bits of the film equally as well - from the CSI ripoff that Segel's character scores music for (starring Billy Baldwin, of course,) to the cameos of Paul Rudd and Jonah Hill. It's hilarious and contagiously charming throughout. Oh, and Dracula puppets!

There are times when we'd beg CUPID to pull out the arrows from our heart. Can it really be done? How does one unlove someone who meant the world to him? Almost like a HOW-TO film or a comic WIKI movie that offers simple steps to "get over" someone. Didn't really seem that simple though. My, MILA KUNIS has evolved...she's drop dead gorgeous! First time to really get a close-up look at JASON SEGEL. This is an OK movie to while away those down times in between service skeds.

Enjoyable comedy from the Apatow clan with Jason Segel as the lead schlub this time. Supporting roles from Paul Rudd, Russell Brand and Bill Hader are golden. Also, the only movie I know to feature a puppet Dracula musical.

Entertaining enough, there's some good laughs, the cast works pretty well together. The story is fairly predictable and I wonder if everyone at a Hawaiian hotel is as chummy as the movie portrays it to be. But it's okay for a viewing, you'll probably laugh a few times.
