One of the strangest horror sequels I’ve seen. It is not a continuation of the original movie or features the same characters.
The plot is completely different and it doesn’t even adhere to the same genre. This is not simply a horror-comedy but it is also a time travel tale that shifts gears into a western by the end. Hell, there are dinosaurs in this movie!
It is a baffling experience but it is certainly not boring. The fact that Bill Maher has a supporting role is the least surprising part.
Royal Dano somehow gives a good performance despite all the buffoonery.
