Thriller about a lawman and his prisoner taking refuge at a lonely woman's ranch until help comes. Although it takes place in the present, with planes and jeeps, the location has the feel of a western. The small cast and isolated setting makes it feel like a stage play. It also is very talky given there is not much action until the end. It wants to be suspenseful and thoughtful. But it comes off more as stolid and trite.
