Fantastical adventure of the pint-sized protagonist (Tamblyn) who outwits a pair of bumbling thieves (Terry-Thomas, Peter Sellers). Some of the effects look alright for a fifties release but the stop-motion is pretty cringe-inducing today. Songs are very cheesy but they fight right in with the whimsical stone.
