Thanks for the comment! I agree that Katniss putting the pieces together on her own would have been far better. It is very jarring to go back and forth between an intense action sequence and a calm control room. Still, a good movie that is better then a lot of crap going around today. = )

Fanfreakintastic review. I agree on all counts. If they took out the control room scenes, I think I would have liked the movie even better. They could have had Katniss thinking about it and working it out on her own, talk to herself a little or something. The transitions between the arena and the bright, shiny control room were jarring for me and took me out of the moment.
Like you said, there were things the movie just didn't get right ot left out. As a 'book purist,' as you've called me …

Thanks for the comments bro. Yeah Al was definitely robbed of a statue from the GF trilogy. Ironic since the story focused on Michael Corleone. I gambled if Big Fish was good, it was way better than I expected. No regrets with the DVD.

Godfather III may have its flaws, but it is a good film compared to what you see nowadays. It is the perfect conclusion to the franchise, Performances from Al Pacino, Diane Keaton, Talia Shire, and Andy García. The film had seven Academy Award nominations and have a few positive reviews such as mine. I vote watch it, your going to see a much different Michael Corleone.
