Beth Raymond (Shannyn Sossamon) witnesses the shocking deaths of her two best friends; is there a link connecting the deaths, yes; it begins with an unfamiliar ring tone, that leads to an inconceivable voicemail from the future! After listening to the message Beth goes to the police, needless to say, the police think Beth is crazy, except Detective Jack Andrews (Edward Burns) whose own sister was killed in a freak accident that bears an odd similarity to the death of Beth’s friends.
