Manages to retain the comic stylings of the old show, while updating it to a 90's standard. It's harmless, completely kid-friendly entertainment that some adults might find funny as well. Certain jokes still make me laugh even today. I admire it's cleverness and good intentions.

For young audiences only. While this is not the biggest travesty in terms of remakes, it's also not going to win over any old fans. Still, for babysitting fare you could do worse. It's cute, but the charm wears off pretty fast.

Going along with my kick of reviewing movies that I watched as a kid, this movie is up there with ones that my family always watched. The story of the classic gang is modernized enough for the kids to keep their classic charm, yet retain comedic flair that anyone can understand. I can watch it still today and get major laughs. A must-see family flick.
