I give this just a little bit extra because of the cat (played by two cats apparently) - but Lupita Nyong'o and Joseph Quinn are fine too. While the story isn't as interesting as the previous two films, it still has plenty of tension to go around and some great set design. If you liked the previous films in the series, this one helps flesh things out even if it doesn't bring much new to the genre.

Great set pieces but held together by the thinnest plot (full of holes by the way) yet in the "A Quiet Place" saga.

A Quiet Place: Day One delivers thrills and suspense, but it is also a heartfelt and sad story told from the perspective of a woman diagnosed with cancer at the start of the world ending.
