Okay I did not like Jason statham america voice in this movie. This is not good at all, I mean the movie really does slow down in some parts.

I'm bored of Jason Statham's schtick - despite trying to add some layers, Statham still plays pretty much the same type of guy he plays in every other film I've seen him in (sometimes he's more amped up - but he's always the same). Same old, same old and I'm just not feeling it any more.

A career criminal is betrayed and left for dead by his crew and so sets about learning the plans for their latest job and stealing their loot in revenge. The Point Blank formula gets yet another Hollywood retread in this typically unimaginative but efficient Jason Statham vehicle. All of the relevant cliches are present and correct as ordinary decent armed robber Statham shrugs off bullet and knife woulds with a bandage and a couple of aspirin in his workmanlike quest for revenge. Taylor Hackford's direction lacks both flair and invention, preferring clumsy flashbacks to plotting and villains including Vic Mackey - sorry, Michael Chiklis- and a woefully miscast Wendell Pierce go through the bad guy motions before being violently dispatched in turn.Jennifer Lopez' presence as …

Directed by Taylor Hackford
Starring Jason Statham, Jennifer Lopez
I don’t know why an academy nominee director, decided for mediocrity. Parker has Jason Statham, the macho man I like to some extent. For an action hero, we need a plot, not a forceful plot. I mean it. Parker does not have anything. It starts with a quick action scene and then the film moves without any aim. Alright Parker wants to find the men who betrayed him and give them a payback. Is that all? How many kind of such movies we have encountered? Not from a talented director!!! There is Statham, who places gun traps, executes plans well, fights from a building top with a knife in his hand and holy bloody violent set ups. But who cares here? Statham does not have anything to prove here. Well Jennifer Lopez …

I usually make a point of seeing anything Jason Statham is in as he is my new fave action star. Although resembling the '99 flick starring Mel Gibson, Payback in storyline this movie was in my opinion a good way to spend 118 mins. Statham plays the title character Parker, a thief who lives by the code of never stealing money from people who need it, a thief with a conscience so to speak. At the request of his mentor Hurley (Nick Nolte) he takes on a job with a crew of 5 men (Including himself) he doesn't know Melander (Michael Chiklis) , Carlson (Wendell Pierce), Ross (Clifton Collins Jr.) and Hardwicke (Michah Hauptman). The job is successful but in the getaway car the other men ask Parker if he wants to take part in another upcoming heist as to which he says no. This angers Melander …
