"Take the Money and Run" is funny enough to tag along with the other comedies from Woody Allen's early years.

Love this movie. Granted, not everyone has the sense of humor to understand what Woody is doing in this film. Many memorable lines ... a couple of reviewers have mentioned the cello. My favorite line regarding that was when his cello teacher said "He had no conception of the instrument ... he was blowing into it." Beautiful! And near the end, when they were trying to interview the guy that saw what happened, he kept having to re-start his story because he kept telling us what he had for breakfast - priceless. And the movie finished with the best ending ever.

Another of Woody Allen's earlier, more joke orientated spoofs, this has some really funny moments in his once favoured mockumentary style.
