Transplanting Laurel and Hardy to an exotic environment loses just a touch of the magic that comes from the duo getting into trouble in simple situations. However, the way the duo plays off each other is unequaled in early comedy films and this is one of their classics.

A weaker Laurel and Hardy for sure but still funny. It is not as good as Way out West or Block Heads but it still is funny and Laurel and Hardy themselves are always just great to watch them interact with each other. This one has laughs but it does not have the completely satisfying narrative of way out west or the pure amount of laughs in Block Heads.
