A slight improvement over the average if still enjoyable Young Guns, this sequel follows Billy the Kid reunited with his friends only to go on the run from bounty hunter Pat Garrett and his posse. The kinship between the protagonists is as credible as ever and the slightly more melancholic tone is appropriate for the outlaws' increasingly desperate situation. The shootouts and stunts are exciting and the charming cast are clearly having fun.

The 80s brat pack turns it's hand to "reinventing" the western yet again. It's all very superficial, but mildly entertaining, and slightly better than the original.
