It’s basically “Die Hard” except at a boarding school. It’s perfectly serviceable at that. The villain is pretty intimidating. A bit juvenile at times and I found it fairly tame for an R rated movie. This could have easily been rated PG-13 instead.

The black principal doesn't die first in this one. Watched it because somebody called it an Red Dawn ripoff at first I didn't want to watch it because..oh well terrorists boring. It's more upbeat and less grinding on emotional / patriotic feelings.
