Pure dreck, worthless in every way possible. Garbage is what this film is garbage. Watching people getting tortured should not be considered entertainment. Films like this should get the NC-17 rating, no kid should ever go to see this film. It has no artistic merit whatsoever.

Overrated to say the least. Poorly acted and poorly plotted, it just comes off as a crappy version of Se7en. The "games" were an interesting idea but, like everything else ,amount to nothing.

Despite the sequels, the violence, and everything working against it, Saw is a really good film. I was trying to explain it to a lady and had a hard time, because of all the twists.

While one of the better movies like this to have come out in the past 5 years, it lacks really good acting and a solid plot. Some times, it was too gross because it could be rather than concentrating on a reason. Still, it is good.

Another very original horror film - it gets high marks for creativity and some pretty twisted traps. It only lacks in the acting department - too hammy or too over-the-top. I'm still a fan of this franchise.
