Hyper-stylized and filled with tension, this crime drama showcases Paul Walker in a rare dramatic role as a low level gangster tasked with retrieving a firearm used in a drug bust gone wrong. His story becomes intertwined with dirty cops, Russian gangsters, child kidnappers, and a resourceful runaway (Bright) whom Walker becomes the protector of. Cameron Bright plays a streetsmart kid well and Vera Fermiga is very good as Walker's strong willed wife.

Wrenching film which sucks you in and has you on the edge of your seat throughout. The acting is top notch and the stakes are extreme and a sense of pervasive desperation tugs at you. This movie is violent and has extreme language, nudity and drug use. Anyone who has seen this movie with me felt the same. The emotional pull is inescapable.

I really liked Paul Walker in this role. And the wife was completely kick-ass. I loved it. There were a lot of twists and turns, some good action. I liked this a lot. Good movie.

Breathless, hyper-stylized thriller that eventually goes too far with coincidences and endings that are over-the-top; one has to ask why Paul Walker risks his family and himself to find a gun he really didn't need to. Nice try! Final Grade: C+

A pleasant surprise from Paul Walker. It was very creative and very well done - particularly through art direction (though some unnecessary camera work). The script was good but many lines were bad. Still, a solid movie with surprises.

There is something about this film which makes your heart beat faster and you might even get nervous or some charachters might irritate you. There are some very sick and twisted peole in this film. It really has unexpected twists. In many parts of the movie I was wondering what they should do otherwise and what would I do if I was one of them. If you like blood and guns this is your film. Not for people who get strained/distressed easily.

This film is not what it seems, there are subtle twists and turns along the way. Paul Walker plays a similar character to Fast and Furious but is still effective. Good action and some "What will happen next" scenes make this film great.
