Not much to write about this one. Nothing special but nothing too horrible either. I thought the creature and the story was a good one but somehow it never rises above its fairly weak script. Still, there are definitely worse eighties horror out there. Like the sequel!

I consider myself a good purveyor of horror films but I just could not get into this one at all. There was nothing that grabbed me about this film - not the story, not the characters, not the "monster" - nothing worked for me.

I could go through all the things I found wrong about this film, but I'm just gonna get straight to the point. I was not entertained. There is nothing special about this boring film. The only reason I give it 1/4 is because I've seen worse.

I do love a cheesy horror film with a ridiculous storyline. One of my all time favourite horror films, great alien-esq effects and Lance Henriksen. What more does it need?!

The thing that stands out is the special effects by the same man that did the Alien series. The scares aren?t scary for today?s movies but decent enough. The worst part was the soundtrack, it like they forced country music to it.
