Best Spidey since Spider Man Two 15 years ago!

This is also the best animated superhero movie since the 1st Incredibles movie which incidentally enough was also FIFTEEN years ago. It outshines the official Incredibles sequel released the exact same year. INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE puts half of the live action Spider-Man movies to shame. It embraces the mythology; comments on the popularity; and even pokes a little fun at the absurdity of Marvel Comics' most popular character and one of comics' most enduring icons.
The dazzling animation is some of the most imaginative and spectacular looking computer imagery in years. It not only recreates the style of comics but it also pays homage to different animation styles (sometimes into the same scene!).
The technical achievements would be commendable if it was simply an adequate story. But INTO …

The year of Spider-Man

"Hey..."

I'm honestly astonished how much I liked this, because before I couldn't be bothered with yet another incarnation of Spider-Man.

I think the message that anyone can be Spider-Man, no matter your race, gender and sexuality is powerful and empowering.

Some of the best animation I've seen in awhile. Refreshing to find little details that people may not pick up on. It's so creative and …

Spider-Verse Opens the Door to Limitless Options

I admit when I first heard about an animated Spider-Man movie coming out towards the end of 2018, I was all - eh, it's not part of the MCU, don't see how this is going to be relevant to anything outside the hardcore spider-fans. Then that trailer dropped and I was immediately hooked - it was truly like a comic book sprung to life. More followed and then the reactions started rolling in and I knew I had to see this.

I am happy to say that Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse not only met the expectations I had coming from the previews, it actually surprised me with just how good a story it crafted, along with the characters you get to meet along the way. Spider-Verse opens with Miles Morales (voiced with impeccable perfection by Shameik Moore) adjusting to life in a new school (for the …
