This movie flightplan was good and suspenseful. I even began to think that her daughter might have been a figment of her imagination. But it was weird that the whole time it was the air marshall who kidnapped the little girl. And it was inspirational that the lady would not give up and new she was on the plane. The movie keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time. Although I didn't like the ending. But overall best airplane movie i have seen in a while.

Jodie Foster never disappoints whenever she is on screen. Peter Sarsgaard did a good job as well. The first portion of the film was intriguing. When it gets to the middle you would know the rest of it. Cheesy ending and lack of a better screenplay melted down the excitement. It tried hard to be a good thriller, unfortunately, the execution was sub par.

There's a lot of tension in this skillfully-made thriller. Jodie Foster channels the concerned mom character she displayed in "Panic Room." However, the "secret" of the film is, quite frankly, dumb, and, once it is revealed, the rest of the movie plays out kind of absurdly, ruining the superb first half.

Do not watch this movie if you are planning on traveling by plane in the next 3 months. The suspense in the first half is palpable, but the "reveal" is a bit of a let-down.

It seemed like this movie came out about the same time as "Red Eye" did because for almost a year I thought they were the same thing. However, "Flightplan" has a much rounder story and at the same time offers a dramatic spin to a classical thriller. When Jodie Foster's daughter goes missing in the middle of a transatlantic flight, the crew is asked to find her, but they receive news that her daughter, in fact, never boarded the plane. She is not going to stand for it, and begins a desperate search to find her daughter and prove to everyone that she exists and that she is safe.

Flightplan is one of those films that has an Interesting concept or idea, then ruins it. The Film is not exciting and not intense. The Acting is quite good but the film is hollow and predictable, with a twist that you can see coming a mile away. Jodie Foster is good in the lead. Sean Bean and Peter Sarsgaard are also good. The screenplay is bad and the direction is sloppy. Is it just me, or, have we seen this concept before?.. in a movie called Panic Room.

This is one of those movies that will have you on the edge of your seat, but it didn't have to be as long as it was. Also, Jodie Foster, is always good as that that tough, no nonsense leading lady.

This movie almost seems cold when you are watching it, but I do have to admit that it has you on the edge of your seat the WHOLE time!

Could have been a 30-45 minute movie but they dragged it out for over 1 hour and a half

Not so much a remake as a homage to The Lady Vanishes. Although the acting is very good, the plot is kind of a mess. The first half of the film is great but as the plot takes one wild turn after another, it gets to be too much.
