This is an "actors' movie." The acting was phenomenal! Matthew McConaughey and Jared Leto absolutely deserve their Oscars. However, despite the heavy lifting that those two, and really the whole cast do, I felt like this could've been better. That's on the screenwriter and the director. It's not a bad movie, in fact it's really good, but it just felt like something was missing. In some spots, I felt like the movie went by too fast, in others, I felt like it just dragged on. However, I would recommend this film to anyone.

Average film about finding connections after a life changing transformation. It is supposedly about modern enlightenment and how although we are divided, we can all come together. The main character is a chauvinistic redneck who learns to dispel his negative bigotry about other's sexual preferences and unite them in finding a cure which has been withheld by the inefficient FDA.

Matthew McConaughey weight loss in the movie was shocking.Dallas Buyers Club. I used to hate Matthew McConaughey because of his old crappy movie but now He is the new Johnny Depp, the acting and the directing was brilliant and I have no nick picks or any other Bad things to say I think the movie works well with the script and the cast. and this movie will get a 4/4 star's "Great movie go see it now".

'Dallas Buyers Club' presents two of the best performances of the year. McConaughey gives his single best acting effort and Leto disappears into another unrecognizable supporting role. Both are mesmerizing. The rest of the film is solid. It's a raw representation of a true tale that instills hopefulness when faced with a terrible situation. There is a strong feeling of want for Woodroof to fight the system and his not-so-legal accomplishment is still commendable for the fact that it's done for just reasons of equality.
