God smite the idiots who made this movie and smite the 12 year old kids who like it. Ever since Scary Movie 2 spoof films have been so on and off. Sure, there were ok ones like Superhero Movie and Scary Movie 3, but for the most part, its all been shit. This is no exception.

Yes I know this sounds harsh but its true. This movie goes beyond a bad movie. Its plot frankly is all over the place and its humor is terrible.Also its content was outrageously vulgar and down right idiotic. Some scenes seemed to just go on and on with vulgarity like an amateur presentation. Poor, poor Fox, that's all I can say, because they will not make your money back with this venture. When I first saw an advert isement for it I thought it would be quiet good, maybe even great but I was wrong, very wrong. And those two writers from Scary Movie must of been drunk or intoxicated in some way while writing the story . In Conclusion I have one thing to say about this movie. Don't go to see it. it's a waste of money and time.

Date Movie is an Awful, Terrible, Disastrous movie. It's a spoof, but doesn't really spoof anything, and the things that it does spoof, are scenes that weren't even funny in the actual movie itself. The jokes are terrible and they never know when to stop. The Acting is atrocious and pitiful, even the usually quirky alison hannigan is bad. The Writing is some of the worst in years and the direction is terrible. Lets not get started on the art direction. the movie is down right not funny and should not be seen by anyone. go figure that Carmen Electra is in it. this is the worst spoof movie of all time. ew.

I really think this might have been the worst movie I have ever seen or pretty close to it. This movie was awful, I hardly could sit through it! It was a pointless movies. Some spoofs really just are not nessacary. It was worse then Epic Movie and I didn't think that was possible till after seeing this.

Dumb comedy that is too dependent on other, better spoofs. It's 40% predictable, 45% ridiculous and only about 5% funny (namely the Kill Bill bit). You decide. Final Grade: D+

How do you parody romantic comedies? Not like this. I know the movies being skewered were technically 'comedies' to begin with (even though most of them weren't funny themselves), but there is still room to make fun of their formulas and cliches. Here all they do is take the same jokes from those movies and add a vulgar twist to them. Granted, I actually did laugh maybe 5 or 6 times, but they were just chuckles. Still, that is more laughs than I had in Friedberg/Seltzer's other so called 'parodies'.

Awful. Just awful. This movie is just not funny. Sure, some of the comedy is lowbrow, and quite slapstick, but I have enjoyed a few other spoof movies containing the same (emphasis on a few). However, it seems with each new spoof movie Setlzer and Friedberg become a little bit lazier with their writing. The parody of Kill Bill in Date movie comes to mind. Instead of thinking of a clever and inventive way to spoof the flashback scenes of Kill Bill, Date movie wastes 2 minutes of our lives by showing the same punch line over and over again. This was one of the few movies in my life I actually had to stop watching because it wasn't even the least bit entertaining. Avoid this toxic waste dumb at all costs.

In conclusion: Freakin' great. This parody film is jam packed with halarious content. It will leave you laughing like crazy. My favorite part was when they were at the restaraunt and he was screaming 'yes' over and over. My overall rating is 8.5/10.
