Not much memorable characters matched with over dramatic gun fights and shaky camera work. It has some nice action sequences but the story telling is all over. I guess this is the product of a film filled with too much central figures with the nonchalant forgettable acting of Walker and Christensen. Takers is a violent film with depressing turns and somewhat realistic film but fails as a whole.

A pretty middle-of-the road heist flick that takes elements from better movies and gives it the old college try. I was mildly entertained, but not enough to recommend this to anyone unless you really are desperate for a crime drama.

pretty disappointing, although I didn't expect much out of it. It just reminded me of Italian Job in a way. Nice actors :) bad movie

"Takers" is a film about people who rob and people who want to catch them. I honestly like the concept. A group of robbers and two cops so eager to catch them. I love the drama within this action film. I was a bit moved by this BAD guys who actually have concerns on their friends, not because they rob together, but because of the attachment to their brotherhood. This film for me, is pleasant to see. It's just that nothing is actually new. Cool but nothing to boast of.

I should have known that anything with Paul Walker was going to be bad. This is no different. Takers is an average crime action flick that adds nothing to the genre. Elements of Boon Dock Saints, Lucky Number Sleven, Ocean's 11 and many more appear, but not well. Skip it.

This was very entertaining, however at times it was a bit silly and coming out the same year as The Town definitely sets this back. But the action scenes were very intense and suspenseful, and the acting, with the exception of T.I. was very good.

This movie was definitely better than what I thought it'd be. Also, I know nothing about the whole thing between Rihanna and Chris Brown. So, I won't comment on it. Nor does it change the way I see the movie.

I went into this film not really knowing what to expect, and I have to admit, I was pleasantly suprised. The plot was solid, the acting good, and overall, I did enjoy the film. My only complaint is that while it was entertaining, it was a bit far fetched and not all that believable. The action will keep you entertained, but it lacks reality.
