Taking us on an adventure unlike anything Disney had done before in the form of animation, "Atlantis" ranks amongst their most underrated features.

Uneven mix of Indiana Jones style treasure hunting, Michael Bay explosions and the usual Disney flair. It's cliche and not cliche at the same time. The end result is an okay film that's not memorable in any way.

Not a great Disney film - some interesting animated visuals, but the action is slow-paced and the mystical storyline is pretty silly.

Action: 2/3 + Comedy: 1/2 + Good vs Evil: 0.5/1 + Love/Sex: 0/1 + Special Effects: 0/1 + Plot: 0.5/1 + Music: 0.5/1 = 4.5/10 or 45%. While most of the animation is a tribute to the 40's and 50's style of classic american cartoons, there's nothing else to commend here. The whole movie is rushed, like Disney wanted it done in 2 weeks, and the characters are placid and dull. A very boring let down of an animated movie.

This was a really sad dissapointment for Disney. This seemed boring for adults and boring for kids. Thankfully Disney has come out with better movies since then.
