Ehh.... Its another mid-life marriage movie. It has its funny parts and is worth a watch with the wife/husband.

"A comedy about a vacation in paradise they'll never forget!" Finally, a great romance with a subtle touch of comedy but without those typical long talks at the moonlight in a hot tropical scenario that keeps you interested during the whole movie. Better than a crazy movie about a messed up couple, only a crazy movie about four messed up couples. Each couple has different problems but they'll all have to work on that in the same place. "It may be paradise... but it's no vacation." This romance is very interesting about marriage, it's worth watching and you wanna watch it again because it very entertaining definitely won a spot on my top romances!

While this is a solid romantic comedy film, there is nothing here that makes it stand out above other films of its ilk. I mean everyone works well enough together, but they all feel like they're going through the motions. A decent if forgettable film.

This movie was definitely not as funny as it should have been, and it was predictable.

Not as funny as I thought it was going to be. It was good for a few laughs but in the end it's not memorable at all. I will say that Vince Vaughn actually does some acting here rather than be his frat boy self. There are some absurd moments toward the end that are ridiculously out of place and don't make much sense. In the end, if you saw the trailer and previews, you've pretty much seen this movie.

I like that it wasn't your typical romantic comedy in that the characters arent on a desperate mission to get together but to try and stay together. Almost all the comedy is brought to the table by Vince Vaughn and while it is humerus, it's also forgettable. Something to watch when you're bored but nothing you and your friends will be quoting for weeks. It's not a bad movie, but it will be in the bargain bin in the next few months.

I went into this movie not expecting too much, but hoping to be entertained. It starts out with a promising plot, and a nice cast that for the most part, blends well together. Throughout the film, there are some funny parts, and the plot does keep you somewhat interested. However, in the end, there just wasn't enough humor. It was entertaining, but I wouldn't watch it again.

I almost liked this movie. Vince Vaughn was great as usual. Jon Favreau was great as usual (showing again he can be a funny tough guy). Nothing new here, but I would recommend this movie for couples who need a retreat but nothing more.

Couples Retreat is neither funny nor honest. The exact opposite of a retreat, it's merely exhausting.
