This is probably my favorite Ed Norton movie. I really like it when the political mixes with the entertaining and everything comes out good. This is a great movie about redemption of the highest kind.

Mundane ideology that dismisses everything that's not completely liberal. Not to mention that the directing is horrid. Many movies deal with this subject matter in a more intelligent and meaningful way.

A lot of people can't take this movie because of its violence and the subject matter. However, Edward Norton's performance is stellar. I would highly recommend this movie to anyone wanting 1) something great to watch 2) good actors 3) challenging subject matter.

One of the most powerful films I have seen. American History X, like all such films, takes on a very serious subject and doesn't flinch. This should be shown in every school, no matter the rating. It's that good.

The bw along with the color is very effective. The acting, plot and subject matter are important do an incredible job of keeping us in the game. What an awesome performance by Ed Norton!
