The story is about a cabbie unwittingly becomes the protector of two extra-terrestrial siblings with paranormal abilities who are on the run from an organization that wants to use them for evil purposes. This movie has horrible CGI and the kid actors are annoying.

As far as family-friendly movies go, you could do a lot worse. Sure, the Rock isn't the most versatile actor, but the story is fun with enough action to keep things interesting. Cute without being too pandering.

I found Race to Witch Mountain to be very fun. Yes it is corny and a bit over the top, but personally I think the movie pulls it off. It has lots of fun action along with some cute family friendly banter. It is meant to be a family movie. You should keep that in mine when you watch it. Over all, fun!

I saw the original a looooooooonnnnnnnng time ago, and liked it. I also like the Rock, and Cheech Marin. So, this should've been a 3 / 4 for me. But, I had to mark it down a little bit because of the bad message it sent. The message being that we could perform magic, if only we used more than 10% of brain. I think that's a dangerous message. Other than that though, it was pretty cool.
