Spun off from not one but two of the very best animated series, "Return of the Joker" does what any great feature length continuation should. It tells a new story that furthers the legacy of the ones told before it.

An excellent bridge between 'Batman: The Animated Series' and 'Batman Beyond'. Continuity from both series flows terrifically. The detective element is strong and the mystery behind the circumstances is well conceived. I was legitimately surprised by the twists. This is another great animated Batman film that any fan should definitely check out.

Okay, I'm going to be honest and say that the movie was so-so until we came to the end where we see Joker's death. Now that single scene blew me away. It brought out a various aray of emotions that few movies can do to me. That scene in itself is what keeps me rewatching this movie. It's sad that there are two verisons of Joker's death. I suggest watching the first one. It sticks more to the characters from the comics. Good movie! If you're a Batman fan, check this one out! You won't be disappointed!

The Joker reigns havoc on Robin and the Bat-family in both past and future Gotham while Bruce Wayne attepmts to regain control of his corporation. The Joker's final trump card attempt to off Batman is commendable, though the story falls into some very typical loopholes to reveal what exactly is going on.
