Carrell makes this movie take-off. With Rudd and Rogan on his side, this has become my favorite Apatow movie. Funny and insane with a funny story and premise. Carrell is believable and hilarious. The waxing scene is actual footage of Carrell being waxed. He literally could not handle it, him storming off was real and unplanned. This is a must-see for all comedy fans.

It's a great comedy. You can count on Steve Carrell to make you laugh the whole way through the movie. Even if you watch it a number of times this movie does not fail to make you laugh. If you want to have a good laugh then this is the movie for you.

Andy Stitzer (Steve Carell) as the virgin loner who collects action figures, plays video games and watch TV. Had a good supporting cast and with a lot of humorous scenes. The premise was good and Carrell really shines in his role. The 40 Year-old Virgin is a comedy worth watching.

Hilariously funny all throughout, but with a solid heart that boosts it above the level of the average R-rated comedy. The rapport of Carrell, Rudd, and Malco really elevates the material, and Jane Lynch is a scene-stealer as a lecherous boss. A sex comedy about not having sex.

This is a really funny movie, but I didn't like the moral of it at the end which justified his being a 40 year old virgin.
