A few quality laughs from a black comedy inspired by Hitchcock's Strangers On A Train. Anne Ramsey is hilariously monstrous as Devito's momma!

Unapologetically lifting it's main plot device from Hitchcock's 'Strangers on a Train', 'Throw Momma from the Train' adds a fun comic spin to the idea. A fair amount of jokes were unexpected. The very end wraps up too 'nice', but the rest is enjoyable.

The mother in this movie is hilarious! I think she's the same woman that's in the Goonies. Am I right?

Dark comedy - works on some levels, but I never really liked it all that much. Still, you got to love Anne Ramsey - she does play someone you would want to throw from a train pretty well.
