I will certainly hand it to the Sequel Gods, though they are not the most affluent nor well-praised of the Gods, "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: Secret of the Ooze" was just what every boy under the age of twelve wanted to see. More mutants, more action, more campy lines that we could repeat without having to be sent to our rooms. A great follow-up, though like true realists in this world, I will not denounce the original, for it was the greatest of them all.

I gotta admit, as a child I loved the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. So, I'll give this movie a few points.

Brings back a lot of the TMNT flavored humor, but this is a much more light hearted and more cartoonish/childish sequel. Adults watching may find quite a bit of the movie a bit corny. Still good, and a worthy sequel. Was my favorite of the series as a child.
