Not quite as effective as the first film, 28 Weeks Later still packs a visual punch, especially during the opening zombie attack sequence over the haunting building scene, and during the sniper on the roof sequence, which brings home the film's social message. No film can truly live up to the first in a series, but 28 Weeks Later works nicely.
