The production design and costumes look quite nice. Michael Caine is a charming villain. Diane Keaton is not sleepwalking either. James Caan and Elliott Gould have the makings of a decent comedic pairing. But the movie is just not that funny or exciting. This movie has a lot in common with "Ishtar" (1987). Although not as bad as that movie, I kept getting that same vibe while as I watched this.
