Roddy McDowall plays a rather unsavory protagonist in this horror tale about a golem running amok in present-day London. The design of the golem itself is simple but memorable. McDowall clearly had some cues from the Anthony Perkins school of acting. But he's not quite as endearing in a roundabout way as Perkins was playing Norman Bates. So we're left with an unpleasant character as the main focus. The story does get pretty out of control and they literally drop a nuke to end the story.
