Famously butchered film noir that borrows elements from his earlier films like 'Citizen Kane' and 'The Lady from Shanghai'. Orson Welles' imperious screen presence is felt even when not on-camera. The plot is just a travel montage of Q&A followed by murders and backstabbings at the end of the day. Shot nice though.
