Bizarrely constructed yet deceptively plotted movie that shares elements of a satirical comedy and a psychological thriller. The film-within-a-film looks like a rousing adventure which I would love to see. Yet the main plot itself is a witty if wacky game of wills between the protagonist (Railsback) and a megalomaniac film director (Peter O'Toole).
