Michael Keaton plays a scammer who runs afoul of big time criminals in a dangerous game of espionage and murder. His only ally is a rookie private investigator (Chong).
When reviewing this movie, Roger Ebert humorously mentioned he could not remember seeing this movie. And I can see why. It’s so vague in terms of the story but so complicated in the storytelling.
Keaton and Rae Dawn Chong make an interesting pair. They don’t have chemistry but they are funny together. Meatloaf is incredibly frightening as a hulking thug.
There are a couple chases that work. But the plot is way too scattershot for it to be passible fluff.
