Mr. and Mrs. Smith (1941)

The only pure comedy in Alfred Hitchcock's filmography and it's a screwball farce at that. Some of the jokes and misunderstandings are funny. But it is too scattershot. Robert Montgomery is kind of bland. However, Carole Lombard is an amusing spin on the icy blonde often seen in Hitchcock movies. I almost wish she was in one of his mystery movies instead.
