Suitably entertaining film noir about a sultry housewife (Monroe) plotting against her ill tempered husband (Cotten). The technicolor cinematography compliments Marilyn Monroe's sensuality and she looks beautiful. Jean Peters is a plucky heroine caught in the middle.
