Clint Eastwood's war drama is about the soldiers who raised the American flag at Iwo Jima. It's an interesting take on the typical crowd-pleaser by showcasing the psychological toil by the fame and glory surrounding the soldiers. Adam Beach is very good as the lone Native American soldier uncomfortable with the spotlight.
