'Lone Survivor' is the latest true war story to arrive in the theater. It is, in equal measure, a harrowing crowd pleaser and an emotional struggle. The four main actors convey believable soldiers. The battling feels like a real un-strategized mess of gunfire. Thankfully, the director doesn't get all 'shaky-cam' on us in these intense moments. This could've easily been a piece of propaganda, or persuasion of war ideals, but the film's only intent is to showcase a gruesome truth. Hopefully that fact will help 'Lone Survivor' reach a wide audience, because I believe it deserves the attention.
