The next new book-to-film series has started off successfully. This is a faithful adaptation. It manages to stuff in the best parts and breeze through it's two hour and twenty minute runtime, while still hitting all of the major points with accuracy. The characters, action, humor and emotional moments were strong. All of the actors were in top form, especially Lawrence as Katniss. This is an entertaining film that I can recommend to everyone, fan and non-fan alike.
