Woody Allen's most unusual movie is one of his best.

As usual, it's difficult to know what to expect from a Woody Allen movie. His ideas are so strange and charming and this one was no exception. I had no idea what this story was going to turn into before I watched it but I found myself immediately drawn to it. The ending captured the spirit even though it went completely against everything the audience might have wanted. " I don't know what they're charging you, but those champagne bottles are filled with ginger ale."

Charming light fantasy penned by Woody Allen with a fine cast and witty dialogue. Once again, my enjoyment of Allen's films seems inextricably linked to his on screen absence.
