There's as many plotlines in "Dominion" as there are dinosaurs. Some would make for a great "Jurassic World" sequel, but most of them just make the movie needlessly long and overly complicated.

"Jurassic World? Not a fan."

More like ‘Locusts: Da-Minion’, lol.

So here we are, at the end of the line for Jurassic Park/World series (well for now, since this movie made $995 million worldwide, becoming the second highest-grossing film of 2022), but as for now, it’s the finale.

There was a lot of potential for Dominion, with the last movie ‘Fallen Kingdom’ ending on a massive cliffhanger, with the dinosaurs being set free into the world and how the modern world handles the animal attacks. On top of that, this marks the return of the original 1993 characters: Alan Grant, Ellie Sattler, and Ian Malcolm, with the OG actors returning as well. Dinosaurs run amok but there's still a park

Ludicrous plot aside, I had a good time with this sequel being touted as the 'epic finale' for the now 29 year old movie franchise. Though I can see them doing more since it will probably make a lot of money.
It's cool seeing the original cast team up with the younger crew. Pratt and Howard are decent but newcomer DeWanda Wise comes close to stealing the show as a badass pilot. Campbell Scott is pretty bad as an evil tech CEO though. It's heartwarming to see Sam Neill and Laura Dern reprise their roles again as Alan Grant and Ellie Sattler. Although Jeff Goldblum is more fun to watch as Ian Malcolm again and he has the best one-liners.
Compared to the first two JW movies, one thing I appreciate about DOMINION is that it embraces its absurdness with gusto. There's a subplot with mutant …

Over-Indulgent, Messy But Wildly Entertaining

Chris Kavan - wrote on 06/20/2022

It's easy to see the series is spinning its wheels by this point but it's still entertaining and thanks to the inclusion of a trio of familiar faces, at least tries to go out on a high note.

Dominion is once again about power run amok, this time in the form of Lewis Dodgson (Campbell Scott) - a cross between Steve Jobs and Elon Musk - who has turned his company, Biosyn, into a $1 billion giant thanks to genetics. But, of course, the good-natured face of the company is hiding some dark secrets.

Secrets in the form of kidnapping Maise Lockwood (Isabella Sermon) who has been kept under close watch - and near prison conditions - by Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) and Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard) after it is revealed she herself is a genetic clone of her own mother. But teens will be …
