The best word to describe this film is Flat. The script is flat, the jokes are flat and the special effects are flat. I was excited to hear about this new direction in the franchise and the casting but unfortunately it just didn't work. It's not a chemistry issue between Chris Hemsworth and Thompson that fails this movie, its everything else that causes them to not have that chemistry that fails them. Wish they had a chance to do a do over, but this will be the last we see of this franchise for a while.

Well, it passes the low bar set by Men in Black 2 but it's nowhere close to recapturing the slick charm of the first movie or even the fun of the 3rd one. It's a breezy sit but it doesn't leave much of an impression. The theme music is used at the wrong moments and its familiar visual style doesn't help it stand out from other blockbusters today. The only one who seems to be going for it all the way is Rebecca Ferguson as a wily alien weapons merchant. Hemsworth and Thompson aren't necessarily bad. They retain the warm friendly chemistry from the Marvel movies but they're not giving it their 100 percent neither.

A complete waste of time. I haven't been so bored watching a movie in awhile. The alien designs was unimaginative, the effects are terrible, the comedy falls flat, the characters suck, and Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson lacked any chemistry this time around. There was nothing here that I liked.

My Box Office Prediction

Opening: $60 Million
Domestic: $191
Overseas: $371 Million
Worldwide: $562 Million

My Say: This will be a success because of the cast, and Sony having great financial success with Jumanji and Venom.
