Hatchet III ramps up the body count, the gore and the blood - but leaves little room for anything else. This is over-the-top death and destruction - and if you're looking for anything else, move along. Fun for fans who like the slasher genre, though there isn't much horror to be found here and almost no character development (since pretty much everyone dies). Still, if you've managed to get through the first two, might as well stick it out until the end.

This movie felt like a hatchet going throw me. Okay I did see the other hatchet movies and they are okay. This movie is not good at all but it's not as bad as people are saying about it.

Repetitive 'Hatchet' Finale

A sort-of lackluster 'finale' to the 'Hatchet' series. It is short, sweet, and very much to the point, but it manages to be even less fun than part 2. It doesn't stand as well on it's own, feeling much like an add-on to the previous entry. The body count is triple the amount of the last two, which leaves no room for likable new characters, only gory slayings on repeat. There is little creativity with these kills. It's a full on action movie at this point. No horror to be found here besides a few 'jump' scares. Most of the jokes are stupid, as are the characters. The only character worth watching spends most of the movie repeating the fact she knows how to defeat Crowley once and for all. Thankfully, the finale does deliver a great send-off to Crowley.
